Can anyone register and bid on items?
Yes, our platform is open to anyone aged 18 and over. We have experienced customers and retailers that trade for a living, people that like to earn a little extra cash through buying and selling and those that might just be looking to grab a bargain. Whatever your motivations you can sign up today!
How do I get my items after winning?
Pay for your items via the GAP Wallet Link that is on your invoice, Bank Transfer, Over the phone or onsite when picking up. You can pick up onsite or request a Shipping Quote.
How do I remove a bid I placed by mistake?
Unfortunately, bids made in error cannot be removed. Once a bid has been made it is a legally binding contract and as such we cannot cancel either commission bids or max bids.
How do I register for an account?
In order to bid and buy with us, you need to register for an account (view tutorial). This is a very simple process and can be done in just a few steps. Simply click register or sign up on the main page of the website. We ask you to fill in a few simple details. You will need to enter a valid UK phone number and an email address to which we will send activation codes. Once we have confirmed these details you are able to bid with us.
We require 2 forms of ID when registering for our live auctions when bidding in the room for the first time. We only accept valid and in date Passports, Driving Licences and Firearms Licences. You will also be required to provide separate proof of address, we only accept current utility bills, bank statements or current council tax statements. Is there a cost to register?
There is NO cost to register. We ask for bank details upon registration as an age checker
What are the extra charges?
Buyers premium, Buyer’s premium VAT, Hammer VAT, Internet Surcharge (online only)
How long do I have to make a payment?
Payment needs to be in within 24 hours of the Auction or the next working day if the Auction was Saturday
When do I have to pick up my items?
You have 48 hours for collection
What time can we view Lots?
Monday – Friday 12-4 pm. Contact the office to book a time slot
How do I obtain a shipping quote?
Once the invoice total is settled email email@example.com with your name and buyer number for a Shipping Quote
